Enroll and Pay KU

What It Is

Enroll and Pay is the University of Kansas' online student portal where students manage their academic enrollment and financial obligations. This centralized platform allows KU students to register for classes, view their billing statements, make tuition payments, and handle other financial transactions related to their university account.

How to Access the System

Students can access Enroll and Pay by logging in at sa.ku.edu or by selecting the top link on any KU webpage. Once logged in, students navigate to the Student Homepage and select the Student Financials Tile to manage their payments and account information.

Payment Process

The payment system accepts both e-checks and credit/debit cards, offering flexibility for students and their families. Here's how the payment process works:

  • E-check payments : Electronic withdrawals from checking or savings accounts with no additional fees (unless the check is returned unpaid, which incurs a $30 non-refundable fee)
  • Credit/debit card payments : Accepted but subject to a convenience fee on each transaction (percentage available at sar.ku.edu)
  • Payment deadline : Online payments must be processed by the appropriate due date to avoid non-refundable late payment fees

Students click the "Pay Bills/Beak'em Bucks/Dining $" link from the left-hand menu, then select the green "Pay Tuition, Housing and Other Charges" button. This redirects to TouchNet, KU's third-party payment vendor, where students enter their payment amount and financial information.

Billing Schedule

Bills become available in Enroll and Pay around the 21st of each month and are due on the 15th of the following month. This regular schedule helps students and families plan their payment timelines and avoid late fees.

Delegate Access for Parents

Parents and guardians can be granted delegate access to help manage their student's financial obligations. Delegates log in at delegate.ku.edu using credentials sent via email from registrar@ku.edu. The student must specifically grant Student Financials access for the delegate to view and make payments on the account. Once logged in, delegates follow a similar process to students, navigating through the My Student's Information tile to access payment options.

TLDR : Enroll and Pay is KU's comprehensive online system for course enrollment and payment management. Students and authorized delegates can pay bills via e-check (no fee) or credit/debit card (convenience fee applies) through the sa.ku.edu portal, with bills posted monthly around the 21st and due by the 15th of the following month.
