how do i get points in the ominum folio
In the Omnium Folio, you get points by completing the introduction questline and then finishing the weekly Folio quests that award a Mote of Omnial Inquiry. Each Mote gives you one point to spend in the Folio tree, and the system is account-wide once unlocked.
How it works
- Finish the opening questline starting with The Magisters’ Call and ending with The Omnium Reawakens to earn your first point.
- After that, do the weekly quest to earn the next Mote and unlock the next row.
- The Folio appears to unlock over about five weeks, with one new point each week.
Weekly point sources
- Week 1: complete the intro questline.
- Later weeks: complete the listed weekly objective, such as Ritual Sites, Void Incursions, Primessence, or the world-boss/world-quest tasks.
- Once you have the Mote, spend it in the Omnium Folio to choose a rune or talent in that row.
Fast version
- Pick up the Folio questline in Silvermoon.
- Finish the story chain.
- Do each weekly quest as it appears.
- Spend the Mote on the Folio point for that week.
Common confusion
A lot of players call these “points,” but the actual thing you earn is the Mote that unlocks a point in the tree. It is not something you farm endlessly; it is tied to the weekly Folio progression.
If you want the exact weekly quest names and what each one requires, I can lay them out in a clean list.
