How do I move the 'live' channel listing in Youtube tv

You can move the YouTube TV Live guide order by customizing the channel list in Settings > Live guide, then dragging channels into the order you want. The change is usually done from the YouTube TV app on your phone or the web , and then it syncs to your account on other devices.

How to do it

  1. Open YouTube TV.
  2. Go to Settings from your profile icon.
  3. Select Live guide.
  4. Find the channel you want to move.
  5. Use the drag handle next to the channel and drag it up or down.
  6. Save if prompted.

If you want it at the top

If your goal is to make a channel easier to reach, you can move it higher in the Live guide so it appears nearer the top of the list. Some guides also let you hide channels you do not want shown, which can make the list shorter and cleaner.

What to know

  • You generally need to customize the guide from a phone or browser , not every TV device.
  • The order should carry over to other devices tied to the same account.
  • Some older guides or device versions may look slightly different, but the Live guide customization path is the same idea.
