The WNBA teams play 44 regular-season games each in the current season format. Starting in 2027 , that increases to 50 games per team.

• 2026: 44 games per team.

• 2027 onward: 50 games per team under the new agreement.

The regular season is separate from the playoffs, so a team’s total number of games can be higher if it makes the postseason.
