HOW TO CHANGE THE INFORMATION ON THE FOOTER IN HOSTINGER

Here’s how to change the information in the footer in Hostinger Website Builder.

Quick steps

  1. Open your Hostinger account and go to the website you want to edit. Hostinger’s help docs say you can do this from the website builder/editor.
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the footer section.
  1. Click the footer, then choose Edit section to open its settings.
  1. Edit the text, links, icons, contact info, or any other elements inside the footer by clicking each item directly.
  1. Save or publish your changes so they appear on the live site.

What you can change

You can change the footer’s background , layout , and the individual content elements inside it. Hostinger’s support page notes that footer elements can be added or removed, and changes may apply across pages if the footer is pinned site-wide.

Common footer items you may want to update include:

  • Copyright text.
  • Business name or logo.
  • Contact information.
  • Social media icons.
  • Legal links like Privacy Policy or Terms.

If the footer appears on all pages

If your footer is set to display on all pages, editing it on one page usually updates it everywhere. That is the normal behavior Hostinger describes for pinned footers.

Useful reminder

If you only want to remove or hide one item, click that specific element in the footer instead of editing the whole section. You can also temporarily hide the footer while working, then bring it back later.
