In Grow a Garden 2 (GaG2) , you can’t usually “drop” a pet like an item; pets are managed through your pet slots and equipped/unequipped from the pet menu. A recent guide also notes that players can drop fruits, but not pets as loose items in the world.

What to do instead

• Open your pet or inventory menu.
• Find the pet you want to remove from your active lineup.
• Unequip it or swap it out for another pet.

• If you’re trying to get rid of a pet you just bought, be careful: newly bought pets can be stolen while you’re moving them back to your garden, and buying them back may cost more.
