how to get dusty key in taverley dungeon

The Dusty key in Taverley Dungeon is obtained by going to the southern jail area, killing the jailer to get a Jail Key, opening the cell, and talking to Velrak the Explorer. If you choose the non-reward dialogue, he gives you the Dusty key.

Route

1. Enter Taverley Dungeon.
2. Head south through the dungeon to the Black Knights area.
3. Go east and kill the jailer to get the Jail Key.

4. Use the Jail Key to open the southern cell.
5. Talk to Velrak the Explorer and ask for the key in the correct dialogue path.

Useful note

If you have 70 Agility , you can skip needing the Dusty key by using the pipe shortcut to the deeper dungeon area.

Extra

There’s also a separate way to get another Dusty key later in the dungeon as a replacement if you lose it.
