how to get the realm reborn mount ff14

You unlock the first mount in A Realm Reborn by progressing the main story to around level 20, joining a Grand Company, and completing “My Little Chocobo” to buy a Chocobo Issuance with Grand Company Seals. That gives you the standard Chocobo mount, and later ARR trial mounts lead into the Kirin reward after collecting all six horse mounts from Extreme primals.

First mount

• Reach the level 20 MSQ step and join a Grand Company.
• Finish the Grand Company quest chain.
• Accept “My Little Chocobo” from your Grand Company commander.
• Buy the Chocobo Issuance with Grand Company Seals, then turn it in to get your Chocobo mount.

ARR special mounts

• Company Chocobo: your first and easiest mount, unlocked through the quest above.

• Horse mounts: defeat ARR Extreme primals to get whistle drops like Xanthos, Gullfaxi, Aithon, Enbarr, Markab, and Boreas.

• Kirin: once you have the required horse mounts, complete “A Legend for a Legend” to earn Kirin.

Fast path

1. Push the MSQ until Grand Companies unlock.
2. Join one Grand Company.
3. Complete My Little Chocobo.
4. Use Duty Finder or trials later for the Extreme primal mounts if you want Kirin.
