how to hide joints in clip editor roblox studio

To hide the joints/green dots in Roblox Studio’s Animation Editor or Clip Editor, turn off Show Details in the top bar. In newer Studio layouts, this is usually under the Model tab; in older guidance, it appears under View.

Quick steps

  1. Open Studio.
  2. Go to Model or View.
  3. Find Show Details.
  4. Turn it off.

That setting hides joint/attachment visual markers so the rig looks cleaner while you animate.

If it still shows

  • Make sure you are not in a mode that re-enables details automatically. Some users reported Studio remembering the setting inconsistently between sessions or play/edit modes.
  • If you only want to hide constraints or weld visuals, look for the related visibility toggles in the same display area.

For rig cleanup

Roblox documentation also shows the same idea for attachments and joints in the Outliner: you can hide the Joints parent object to collapse everything underneath, then re-enable only the parts you need.

TL;DR

Turn off Show Details in Model or View to hide the joints in Roblox Studio.
