Basic setup steps

Install the Blink app and create your account.

Add the Sync Module first if you are using one, then connect it to Wi-Fi.

Add the doorbell in the app by scanning the QR code on the back.

Insert the batteries if your model is wireless, or connect the wiring if it is hardwired.

Finish the app prompts, then mount the doorbell at the entrance. Blink recommends completing setup before mounting.

Mounting tips

Blink installation guides and walkthroughs commonly place the doorbell around 40 to 48 inches above the ground for a better viewing angle and motion detection. After mounting the bracket, slide the doorbell onto it firmly and press the button to confirm it rings and sends a notification.

Wired vs wireless

Wireless install: use the included AA lithium batteries, no existing doorbell wiring needed.
