To refuel the Drilldozer in Deep Rock Galactic , pull the fuel canisters off the back of Doretta, aim their beam at the shiny black-and-purple Oil Shale , then put the filled canisters back into the slots on the rear of the machine.

How it works

1. Walk to the back of the Drilldozer and remove a fuel canister.

2. Aim the canister’s laser at Oil Shale to extract fuel.

3. Keep holding it on the shale until the canister is full.

4. Reinsert the full canister into the back of the Drilldozer.

5. Once both canisters are filled, restart the Drilldozer to continue the mission.

Quick tips

• Oil Shale is the refuel material for Escort Duty missions, and it’s usually found nearby when the Drilldozer stops.

• You cannot just “deposit” fuel like a normal resource; the canisters must be refilled and reattached manually.

• If the Drilldozer is idle, check that both canisters are seated properly before trying to start it again.

Short version

Take out the fuel tanks, beam them at Oil Shale, refill them, then slot them back into Doretta.
