Teleport to the Salacia Plain underwater waypoint , then swim west to the dome with the red barrier. You usually need to solve the two Floating Ball mechanisms first, then interact with the two nearby seals to open the room and claim the Hydroculus and chest.
Steps
- Go to the Salacia Plain underwater waypoint.
- Swim west until you find the dome with the red barrier.
- For the north Floating Ball, hit the crystal to switch the color, then use an Armored Crab ability to break the rock so water pressure moves the ball into place.
- For the south Floating Ball, use the Armored Crab shield and stand where needed so the ball is pushed into the ring.
- Return to the dome and activate the two mechanisms to remove the barrier.
What you get
The room contains a Precious Chest and a Hydroculus. Some guides also note a bubble teleport above the dome after completion, which can help you reach the top area nearby.
