how to view game ranks on discord
You can usually view game ranks on Discord in one of two ways: by opening the server’s rank/leaderboard feature, or by using the bot’s rank command if the server has one set up. Discord’s own support notes that in servers using the League of Legends leaderboard experiment, you can hover over the game activity in the Members List to see the leaderboard and each player’s rank.
Common ways it works
- Leaderboard in the member list. Some servers show a leaderboard directly in the right-side Members List, where you can hover over the game activity to see ranks.
- Slash commands or bot commands. Many servers use bots that let you type a command like
/rankor?ranksto view a player’s rank or the server leaderboard.
- Account linking. For game-specific tracking, you may need to connect your game account to Discord first so the bot can read your rank data.
For League of Legends
Discord’s support page says that, in supported servers, the leaderboard appears in Recent Activity in the Members List, and you can view ranks by hovering over the League of Legends activity. If your account is not connected yet, you can link it in Discord settings under Connections, or from the leaderboard flow itself.
For other games
Some servers use third-party bots for games like Rocket League or custom in-
house ranked systems, where commands such as /rank, /rankme, or
/leaderboard show rank and stats. For some game-tracking bots, commands like
?ranks or /lol stats profile display your current rank, recent changes,
and leaderboard position.
If you do not see ranks
- The server may not have rank tracking enabled.
- You may need to link your game account first.
- The rank feature may only work for certain games or servers.
- Some servers only expose ranks through bot commands, not a visible panel.
A good first try is to open the server, check the member list for a
leaderboard or game activity, and then look at the server’s bot command
channel for /rank, /ranks, or a help command.
