what does dni mean in big air

In Big Air (snowboard and ski events), DNI on the scoreboard means “Did Not Improve.”

It’s used in events where riders get multiple runs but only their best two scores count toward the final total. If a later run’s score is lower than or equal to the rider’s already-counting scores, that run is marked as DNI to show it did not improve their overall result.
