what is my linkedin id

Your LinkedIn ID is usually the part of your profile URL after linkedin.com/in/, like john-smith-123. If you use a custom URL, that custom name is your public LinkedIn ID; for company pages, the ID is usually the number in the page URL after /company/.

How to find it

  • Open your LinkedIn profile.
  • Look at the URL in your browser.
  • Copy the text after linkedin.com/in/ for your personal profile.
  • If you manage a company page, check the URL after /company/.

Example

If your profile URL is: https://www.linkedin.com/in/simonsinek/ then the LinkedIn ID is: simonsinek

One important note

Some people mean the public profile slug when they say “LinkedIn ID,” while others mean the numeric member or account ID used in certain technical contexts. For most everyday use, the URL slug is the one people want.

If you want, I can also show you how to find the numeric LinkedIn member ID version.
