what sizes do tampons come in

Tampons usually come in a small range of standard absorbency “sizes,” not body sizes. The most common are:

  • Light (sometimes called junior or “lite”) – for very light flow or beginners.
  • Regular – for average, everyday flow; often the most commonly used size.
  • Super – for heavier flow days.
  • Super Plus – for very heavy flow.
  • Ultra / Super Plus Extra – for the heaviest flow; not all brands offer this.

Most brands stick to Light, Regular, Super, and Super Plus, and a few add Ultra as an extra‑high absorbency option.
