when are premium bonds drawn

Premium Bonds are drawn once a month, on the first working day of each month , and the results are normally released the following day.

How the draw timing works

• The prize draw is run monthly, not weekly or daily.

• NS&I runs the draw on the first working (business) day of the month.
• If the 1st falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the draw is moved to the next working day.

• Prize results and winning numbers are then announced the next day and made available via the NS&I prize checker and app.

Example for 2026

For 2026, the first-working-day rule gives specific draw dates such as Friday 3 January, Monday 2 February, and Monday 2 March, with results announced the day after each draw.
