when did tomlin start coaching the steelers

Mike Tomlin started coaching the Pittsburgh Steelers as their head coach in January 2007, taking over following Bill Cowher’s tenure. He then led the team through 19 seasons, from the 2007 season through the 2025 season, before stepping down in January 2026.
