where are purchased movies on prime stored
Purchased movies on Prime Video are usually stored in your Prime Video library , under My Stuff or Purchases & Rentals on your account.
Where to find them
- On the Prime Video app , open My Stuff and then tap Purchases.
- On the Prime Video website , open My Stuff and choose Purchases & Rentals.
- On some devices, the section may appear directly as Purchases & Rentals without a separate My Stuff menu.
What that means
- Bought movies stay linked to the same Amazon account you used to purchase them.
- They are part of your digital library, so you can access them again later from that account.
- If you rented something instead, it appears in the same area but may expire later.
Quick path
- Sign in to Amazon or Prime Video.
- Open My Stuff or the profile/watchlist area.
- Select Purchases or Purchases & Rentals.
- Tap the movie to watch it.
Purchased movies are not “stored” as separate files on your device in the usual sense; they’re stored in Amazon’s digital library tied to your account.
