where are the book in silent hill 2

The books are in the Reading Room on the 2nd floor of Lakeview Hotel in Silent Hill 2 Remake. You collect four books scattered around the room , then place them on the bookshelf to match the painting, which opens the path to Room 205.

Book locations

The four books are found around the Reading Room, including:

• On the coffee table immediately right as you enter.
• On a table by the bookshelf.
• On the bookshelf itself.
• On the desk to the right of the save point.

Book names

The books are:

• Stalwart to the End
• Revelations: A New Understanding
• Pride Before the Fall
• The One Who Soared

Placement

Place them according to the symbols:

• Winged Man / Angel in the top-left
• Eagle in the top-right
• Bull in the bottom-left
• Lion in the bottom-right

Result

When the books are in the correct slots, the bookshelf moves and reveals the way forward. That opens access to Room 205.
