where are the command pallet extensions located

The Command Palette extensions are in Command Palette settings under Extensions → Gallery. In older versions, you can also find them by running Find Command Palette extensions from WinGet or Find Command Palette extensions from the Microsoft Store inside Command Palette.

Where to look

  • Open Command Palette.
  • Select Settings.
  • In the sidebar, go to Extensions.
  • Choose Gallery to browse and install extensions.

If you have an older version

  • Use the built-in commands for WinGet or the Microsoft Store to discover extensions.
  • Microsoft notes that the Gallery is available in version 0.100 , while version 0.99 and earlier use those search commands.

Installed extensions

  • To manage what you already added, go to Settings → Extensions → Installed.
