where are the winter olympics taking place

The Winter Olympics are taking place in northern Italy, co-hosted by the cities of Milan (Milano) and Cortina d’Ampezzo as the “Milano Cortina 2026” Games.

They are scheduled from 6 to 22 February 2026, with events spread across several venues in the region, including Milan for most ice events and Cortina and nearby mountain areas for many snow and sliding events.
