where did evel knievel jump the snake river

Evel Knievel attempted his famous Snake River jump at the Snake River Canyon near Twin Falls, Idaho. More precisely, the launch site was on the south rim of Snake River Canyon , just east of the city of Twin Falls, on privately leased land that he used specifically for the stunt in September 1974.
