Madison Chock and Evan Bates train in Montreal, Canada , at the Gadbois Centre, under coaches Marie‑France Dubreuil, Patrice Lauzon, and Romain Haguenauer.

They moved their primary training base there in 2018 after previously training in Novi, Michigan, and have continued to be associated with the Montreal ice dance school in recent seasons.
