Punxsutawney Phil lives in a special man‑made burrow inside (and attached to) the Punxsutawney Memorial Library in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, where visitors can see him through a viewing window year‑round.

He spends Groundhog Day morning out at Gobbler’s Knob to “give” his weather prediction, but that’s just his event location, not his permanent home.
