where is adams county ohio

Adams County is in the southern part of the U.S. state of Ohio, along the Ohio River, in the region often described as the rolling hills of southern/southwest Ohio. Its county seat and largest village is West Union, and it lies about an hour east of Cincinnati, with relatively easy driving access from Columbus, Dayton, Lexington, and Huntington.
