where is app pinned to start menu

The app is pinned in the Pinned section of the Windows Start menu. On Windows 11, that section appears near the top of Start, and on Windows 10 pinned apps appear in the right-side tiles area.

How to find it

• Open Start from the taskbar.

• Look in Pinned for the app icon.

• If you do not see it there, use All apps and right-click the app, then choose Pin to Start.

If you meant another “Start menu”

If you were asking where the app shortcut file is stored on disk, that depends on whether it was pinned just for your account or for all users, but the visible pinned location is still the Start menu’s Pinned area.
