Ashland, Kansas is a small city in southern Kansas and the county seat of Clark County, very close to the Oklahoma border in the southwestern part of the state. It sits at approximately 37.19° north latitude and 99.77° west longitude, along a historic former military road between Fort Dodge (near today’s Dodge City, Kansas) to the north and Fort Supply in what was once Indian Territory to the south.
