where is bunbury

Bunbury is a coastal city in the south‑west of Western Australia, located about 175–180 km south of Perth, near the Leschenault Estuary and Koombana Bay.

It’s considered a major regional hub (often called the state’s “second city” after Perth and Mandurah), serving the broader Bunbury–Geographe area with a port, rail links, and highway connections. The city sits close to the mouths of the Collie and Preston rivers, which flow into Leschenault Inlet on the shore of Koombana Bay.
