where is fort campbell

Fort Campbell is a U.S. Army post located on the Kentucky–Tennessee border, between Hopkinsville and Oak Grove in Kentucky and Clarksville in Tennessee, about 60 miles northwest of Nashville along Interstate 24.

It spans parts of four counties: Christian and Trigg counties in Kentucky, and Montgomery and Stewart counties in Tennessee, with roughly two‑thirds of its land area physically in Tennessee even though its official mailing address is in Kentucky.
