where is guadalajara

Guadalajara is a major city in western Mexico and the capital of the state of Jalisco, located inland a few hours from the Pacific coast and not far west of Mexico City. There is also a smaller city named Guadalajara in central Spain, which is the capital of the Province of Guadalajara in the Castilla–La Mancha region.
