where is joint base andrews

Joint Base Andrews is in Prince George’s County, Maryland, just southeast of Washington, D.C., near the communities of Camp Springs and Morningside.

It sits about 10 miles outside the D.C. city limits, off Exit 9 of the I‑495 Beltway in Camp Springs, MD. The installation is a U.S. military base best known as the home of Air Force One and is operated by the U.S. Air Force.
