where is midway island located

Midway Island is located in the North Pacific Ocean , near the northwestern end of the Hawaiian archipelago, about 1,300 miles northwest of Honolulu, Hawaii. It is a small U.S. territory made up of Midway Atoll, including Sand Island and Eastern Island.
