where is slice on cricut design space

The Slice tool is in the bottom of the Layers panel on desktop Cricut Design Space, and on mobile/tablet it appears in the Actions menu after you select two compatible layers. It only shows up when you have exactly two overlapping layers selected, so if it seems missing, that’s usually why.

Where to find it

• Desktop: bottom of the Layers Panel.

• iOS/Android: bottom Actions menu.

If it is missing

• Select only two layers.

• Make sure the layers overlap.

• Ungroup or simplify layered artwork if needed.

Simple example

If you put a circle on top of a heart, select both, then click Slice. Cricut will split the overlapping pieces into separate layers you can delete or keep.
