Bad Bunny was born in Puerto Rico and grew up there as well.

He was born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio on March 10, 1994, in the municipality of Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He was raised in the Almirante Sur neighborhood of Vega Baja, a town on Puerto Rico’s northern coast, in a lower middle-class household.
