where was kid rock born and raised

Kid Rock was born in the small town of Romeo, Michigan, in Macomb County, USA, on January 17, 1971. He was raised there on a family property that included an apple orchard/ranch just outside the Detroit metro area, before later spending more of his teen years in and around Detroit’s music scene.
