Max Verstappen won the first ever Miami Grand Prix, held in 2022 at the Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens, Florida.

He took the inaugural victory by overtaking pole-sitter Charles Leclerc and then defending the lead to the flag, making him the first driver to win a Miami Grand Prix in Formula 1 history.
