how can i check what blueprints I have in star citizen
Right now in Star Citizen, the only way to check what blueprints you have is through a Fabricator interface in-game. There is no standalone “blueprint list” screen yet, but a MobiGlass app is planned for the future.
How to check your blueprints in-game
1. Use a Fabricator
- Go to any Fabricator (on stations, in your ship, or in your base).
- Open the interface and browse the available craftable items.
- Anything you can craft without needing to “find” a blueprint is a blueprint you already own.
- The interface usually shows:
- Items you already have the blueprint for (no extra “find” step needed).
- Items that still require you to get the blueprint first.
There is no official “My Blueprints” tab yet; you just infer ownership by what’s directly craftable.
2. Optional: Put a Fabricator in your ship
Some players keep a small Fabricator in their ship’s cargo hold so they can:
- Quickly check what they can craft during missions.
- See if a mission reward gave them a new blueprint without returning to a station.
Planned future option: MobiGlass app
- CIG has said a MobiGlass blueprint viewer is in development.
- When it’s implemented, you’ll be able to:
- Open a dedicated app in MobiGlass.
- See a full list of all blueprints you own.
- Possibly filter by category (weapons, armor, tools, etc.).
Until that’s live, the Fabricator is your only official option.
External tools (optional but handy)
If you want to track your blueprints more clearly, some players use third‑party tools:
- SC Craft Tools (https://sc-craft.tools)
Lets you manually mark which blueprints you own and filter by mission, contractor, system, etc..
- SCMDB and SC Crafter websites
Show which contracts and missions give which blueprints, helping you plan what to hunt.
These are not “in-game checks,” but they can be a lot faster than repeatedly opening a Fabricator.
Quick checklist
To see what blueprints you have right now:
- Find a Fabricator.
- Open its interface.
- Look at what’s directly craftable:
- If you can craft it without searching for a blueprint → you own it.
- Optionally, use an external site like SC Craft Tools to maintain your own list.
Once the MobiGlass blueprint app is added, you’ll have a simple “check your blueprints” button instead of this workaround. Information gathered from public forums or data available on the internet and portrayed here.
