To hire crew in Warframe, go to Ticker in Fortuna on Venus and choose the crew hire option. You unlock crew after reaching Command Intrinsic Rank 1 , and you can assign them later from your Railjack / Dry Dock setup.

How to do it

  1. Visit Ticker in Fortuna.
  2. Buy a crew member using credits and/or Railjack resources.
  3. Go to your Railjack or Dry Dock and open the crew management menu.
  4. Assign them to a role like pilot, gunner, defender, or engineer.
  5. Equip a weapon and adjust their training if needed.

Important limits

  • You can only have 3 active crew members at once.
  • If you’re in a squad with other players, they can replace your crew members in mission.
  • Higher Command Intrinsics unlock more crew options, including better crew types later on.

Quick tip

If you want crew mainly for Railjack solo play, look for one with good combat and endurance so they survive longer and fight better.
