To shorten an animation in Moon Animator, use the Stretch or Time Stretch option on the timeline, then set a smaller new duration so all keyframes are compressed into less time.

Fast way

  1. Select all frames or keyframes in the animation.
  1. Open the Frame menu and choose Stretch / Time Stretch.
  1. Enter a shorter New Duration.
  1. Confirm, and the animation will play faster because the keyframes are closer together.

Another option

You can also move keyframes manually closer together on the timeline if you only want to shorten part of the animation. That takes more work, but it gives you finer control over specific movements.

Useful note

If your animation still feels too long, check the timeline size or animation settings, since Moon Animator tutorials note that timeline length can be changed there as well.

TL;DR: Use Frame > Stretch and set a shorter duration to make the animation shorter and faster.
