To change your emote pallet in Roblox, open your Avatar editor, go to Customize , then select Emotes. From there, click one of the emote slots and choose the emote you want to assign; you can equip up to 8 emotes this way.

Quick steps

  1. Open Roblox and go to your Avatar page.
  2. Tap or click Customize.
  3. Select Emotes.
  4. Pick an empty slot or replace an existing one.
  5. Choose the emote you want to use in that slot.

In game

After setting them up, open the emote wheel in a game and select the emote you want. Roblox also supports default emotes like wave, point, cheer, laugh, and dance through the emote menu or chat commands.

Note

Some tutorials use “pallet,” but the setting is usually called the emote wheel or emote slots in Roblox.

TL;DR: Go to Avatar > Customize > Emotes, then assign the emote you want to one of the available slots.
