You can download TikTok live streams only if they are your own stream or you have the creator’s permission. TikTok’s own workflow for saved lives is to open the app, go to your profile, tap the menu, open Creator Tools, then Live/Live Center, and check Replays or Live recordings, where you can download the stream if that option is available.

How it usually works

  • Open TikTok and go to your profile.
  • Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
  • Open Creator Tools.
  • Go to Live Center or Live recordings/Replays.
  • Select the saved live and choose Download , Clip , or Replay if available.

If you’re a viewer

If you are not the creator, TikTok generally does not provide a simple built- in way to download someone else’s live stream, and third-party downloaders exist but may raise privacy, copyright, or platform-policy issues. The safer route is to ask the creator for the recording or for permission to save it.
