For carry-on luggage, lotion is usually allowed in containers of 100 ml or less, and all liquid-type items must fit in a single clear 1-liter bag. Bigger lotion bottles should go in checked baggage.

  • Carry-on: 100 ml max per container.
  • Total liquids: must fit in one 1 L clear resealable bag.
  • Checked bag: full-size lotion is usually fine.

Lotion counts as a liquid/cream, so it follows the same airport liquid rule as shampoo, toothpaste, and sunscreen.
