Quick Scoop

Open the website in Safari on your iPhone, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen and tap Add. The icon will appear on your Home Screen and open that page with one tap.

Steps

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to the website you want.
  3. Tap the Share icon.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Rename it if you want, then tap Add.

If you do not see it

If Add to Home Screen is missing, scroll to the bottom of the Share sheet and tap Edit Actions , then add it there first.

Web app option

On some iPhones, you can also choose Open as Web App so the site opens more like a standalone app instead of just a Safari shortcut.

TL;DR

Use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen → Add.
