To add a Highlight on Instagram, go to your profile, tap New under Highlights or open a story/archive, select the stories you want, then name the Highlight and tap Add. You can also edit the cover later and add more stories anytime.

Steps

  1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
  1. Tap New under the Highlights section, or open your Stories Archive from the menu if you want older stories.
  1. Select the story or stories you want to save as a Highlight.
  1. Tap Next , enter a name, and choose a cover if you want.
  1. Tap Add or Done to save it to your profile.

Extra Tip

If the story is still live, you may also see an Add to Highlight option right after posting it. You can use that shortcut instead of going through the archive.

Edit Later

You can update a Highlight later by holding it down or opening Edit Highlight , then changing the stories, title, or cover image.
