In Welcome to Bloxburg, the hover/lift height is changed while you are placing a new lift in Build Mode: select the lift, then press B to make it taller or N to make it shorter. It only works during placement, not after you’ve already placed and picked up the lift again.

Steps

  1. Enter Build Mode.
  2. Select a new lift/elevator.
  3. While placing it, press B to increase height.
  4. Press N to decrease height.
  5. Place it once it looks right.

Quick note

If the height controls don’t show up, it usually means you’re trying to adjust an already placed lift instead of a fresh one. On mobile, players have reported arrow controls for the same adjustment.

Extra context

This is about the lift/elevator height in Bloxburg, not your Roblox avatar’s body height. Avatar height is changed separately in Roblox’s avatar editor, not inside Bloxburg build mode.
