To change the channel in OSRS , use the chat commands for the channel you
want, then type your message normally. The wiki lists these one-message
shortcuts: /p for Public, / or /f for Friends, // or /c for Clan,
and /// or /gc for Guest Clan.
How to use it
- Type the channel prefix first.
- Then type your message.
- Example:
// hello clansends the message to Clan chat.
Default chat mode
You can also set your default chat mode by clicking the chat tabs or the “All” button in the chat window, so you do not need to prefix every message.
If you meant public chat
If you are stuck in clan chat and want to go back to public, use the public shortcut again, or switch the default tab back to Public.
TL;DR: use /p, /, //, or /// before your message to send it to the
right OSRS channel.
