Quick Scoop

On Roblox Rivals, you usually don’t “change VPN” inside the game itself — you change it in your VPN app, then restart Roblox so it reconnects through the new server. Roblox Support also notes that using a VPN can affect account- location accuracy, so a VPN may change how Roblox sees your region.

How to do it

  1. Close Roblox Rivals completely.
  2. Open your VPN app.
  3. Disconnect from the current server.
  4. Pick a new server location.
  5. Reconnect the VPN.
  6. Reopen Roblox Rivals and test the connection.

For better gameplay, choose a server close to you for lower ping, or a different country only if you need region access.

Useful settings

  • Use a fast protocol if your VPN offers one, like WireGuard or UDP-based modes, to help with speed.
  • Turn on split tunneling if available so only Roblox uses the VPN while other apps stay on your normal connection.
  • If Roblox fails to connect, try a different nearby server or a stealth/obfuscated server.

Important note

Some Roblox Rivals videos and forum posts talk about using VPNs to bypass region limits or unlock features, but that can be unreliable and may conflict with game rules depending on what you’re trying to do. Roblox also says its account location is automatically detected and can be affected by VPN use.

Simple example

If you want to switch from a US server to a Singapore server:

  • Exit Roblox.
  • Change your VPN to Singapore.
  • Reopen Roblox Rivals.
  • Check ping and matchmaking.

Bottom line

The safe, normal method is to change servers in your VPN app, not in Roblox Rivals itself, then relaunch the game.
