Open Overwolf Settings and go to Library or Overlay & Hotkeys, then find the Roblox entry and change its per-game app behavior. The key setting is usually Auto-launch : turn it off for the app you don’t want Overwolf to open with Roblox, or block that app from launching for Roblox specifically.

What to change

  • Open Overwolf.
  • Go to Library.
  • Find the app that opens with Roblox.
  • Open its Game Settings or Overlay settings.
  • For Roblox, disable Auto-launch or set the app to Block for that game.

If it still opens

Some apps can still be opened manually even after auto-launch is disabled, but they should not start by themselves when Roblox launches. You can also use the Overwolf dock in-game with Ctrl + Tab to open only the app you want instead of letting it start automatically.

Hotkey cleanup

If the issue is tied to a hotkey, open Overlay & Hotkeys in Overwolf settings and remove or change the Roblox hotkey there. That can help if an app is launching because a shortcut is being triggered unexpectedly.

Quick note

If you only want to stop one specific Overwolf app from opening with Roblox, the per-game auto-launch setting is the cleanest fix.
