To check which players are in a Discord role, open the server’s Members list or Server Settings > Roles and look for the role’s member list. If you have admin/mod permissions, Discord can show everyone assigned to that role; otherwise, you may only be able to see your own roles or role mentions.

Fast ways to do it

  • Open the server, then go to Server Settings > Roles and select the role you want.
  • Use Manage Members if that option appears.
  • On desktop or mobile, click a member’s profile to see their assigned roles.
  • If the role is mentioned in chat, click the role mention to inspect it, depending on permissions.

If you cannot see the list

Discord does not always let regular members view all users in a role. In some servers, only admins or users with the right permissions can filter members by role or see the full roster.

Practical example

If you want to find all players with the Moderator role, go to the member list, open the role in server settings, and check whether Manage Members or a member filter is available. If it is not, you likely do not have the permission needed to view everyone in that role.
